About the role

This is a high-level sales role built for true professionals who are comfortable with in-home consultations, roof access, live-fire systems, and self-sourcing opportunities. While we generate inbound demand, top performers in this role know how to create their own pipeline and maximize every opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners to assess chimney and fireplace systems
  • Perform or support on-site inspections (including roof access when needed)
  • Identify safety issues, repairs, or upgrade opportunities
  • Present custom solutions and close projects
  • Pipeline Development (Self-Sourcing): Generate additional opportunities through referrals, networking, and follow-ups
  • Maximize every interaction to build repeat and long-term customers
  • Leverage brand reputation to expand your book of business
  • Educate homeowners on fire safety, system performance, and maintenance
  • Build trust through professional, honest recommendations
  • Ensure smooth handoff to production and operations teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience in in-home or high-ticket sales
  • Comfortable with roof access and physical inspections
  • Ability to understand and sell technical home systems
  • Strong closing skills and customer communication

Qualifications

  • Preferred Experience in chimney, roofing, HVAC, or home services sales
  • Familiarity with live-fire systems (gas, wood, venting)
  • Track record of self-generating business
  • True sales professional—not order taker
  • Comfortable in a consultative, in-home sales environment
  • Confident working in technical and safety-driven conversations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to self-source and grow income
  • Driven to build a long-term book of business
