This is a high-level sales role built for true professionals who are comfortable with in-home consultations, roof access, live-fire systems, and self-sourcing opportunities. While we generate inbound demand, top performers in this role know how to create their own pipeline and maximize every opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to assess chimney and fireplace systems
- Perform or support on-site inspections (including roof access when needed)
- Identify safety issues, repairs, or upgrade opportunities
- Present custom solutions and close projects
- Pipeline Development (Self-Sourcing): Generate additional opportunities through referrals, networking, and follow-ups
- Maximize every interaction to build repeat and long-term customers
- Leverage brand reputation to expand your book of business
- Educate homeowners on fire safety, system performance, and maintenance
- Build trust through professional, honest recommendations
- Ensure smooth handoff to production and operations teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in in-home or high-ticket sales
- Comfortable with roof access and physical inspections
- Ability to understand and sell technical home systems
- Strong closing skills and customer communication
Qualifications
- Preferred Experience in chimney, roofing, HVAC, or home services sales
- Familiarity with live-fire systems (gas, wood, venting)
- Track record of self-generating business
- True sales professional—not order taker
- Comfortable in a consultative, in-home sales environment
- Confident working in technical and safety-driven conversations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to self-source and grow income
- Driven to build a long-term book of business
