In-Home Personal Care Worker - PT ONLY

What does a day in this role look like?

A person in this role will provide personal care and housekeeping services to individuals in their own home. Community Living Alliance provides all necessary training, so no experience is required. The schedule for this position is flexible and you can work around other jobs, childcare, school schedule, or other life scenarios. You can choose to work with one client, or with multiple clients if you want more hours. Each shift ranges from 1 to 3 hours. While each person is unique and has different care needs, below is a sample of personal cares you may provide while caring for an individual at Community Living Alliance:

  • Personal cares (Includes but not limited to)
  • - Showering/grooming
  • - G-tube
  • - Dressing
  • - Meal preparation
  • - Transfers/repositioning
  • - Toileting (Full assist)
  • - Bowel programs
  • - Housekeeping
  • - Any additional cares provided in the client’s individual care plan

Hours

The typical client hours are between 7am-9pm. AMs and PMs (preferred) are available.

Wage

Pay starts at $15.75/hr - $1/hr extra on weekends.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • MUST have a vehicle (travel for grocery shopping)
  • 18+ years of age
  • Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds
