About the role

The IHWA Performance Lead is responsible for proactively tracking, analyzing, and managing performance across cohorts, states, and vendor partners. This role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to identify performance trends, surface risks and opportunities, and ensure outcomes align with program and bid objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and drive performance management strategies that support value-based program outcomes
  • Partner closely with senior leaders on implementation planning, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across cohorts, states, and vendors
  • Analyze and communicate program results, identifying trends and risks, and providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making
  • Develop functional and segment-specific strategies on complex and high-impact performance matters
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in addressing multifaceted performance challenges, determining appropriate courses of action, and recommending corrective or enhancement strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, public policy, data analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 5+ years of experience in performance management, program delivery, operations, or analytics, preferably within IHWA or similar workforce/healthcare initiatives
  • Proven experience monitoring and managing performance across multiple cohorts, states, or vendors
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and proactively flag risks and opportunities
  • Experience developing and tracking KPIs, scorecards, and performance dashboards against bid or contract goals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor performance and drive accountability through data-driven insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present performance findings to leadership and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend and implement corrective action plans
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in data and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms)
  • SQL Server Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with performance visualization, automation, or predictive analytics
  • Background in continuous improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, compliance, and vendors
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $115,200 - $158,400 per year
