In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver

Visiting Angels of Richardson is hiring caregivers to serve clients throughout the North Texas area, including Addison, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, The Colony, Rockwall, Mesquite, Forney, and many more. The position is pet‑friendly and open to both long and short shifts (day, morning, afternoon, weekend). Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Plan and prepare meals with clients
• Handle light housekeeping duties
• Report health changes or unusual incidents
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for client transport
• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed)
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes at scheduled times
• Physical confidence for tasks such as carrying groceries and supporting clients
• Comfort performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
• Willingness to comply with state and office‑specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day
