In Home Healthcare LVN: Evening Shifts

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide care to patients in New Orleans, LA. The schedule is Sunday- Saturday, 6:00pm- 6:00am. Training for feeding tube, colostomy care, and medication administration is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients in their homes.
• Administer medications and perform other medical procedures as needed.
• Assist with feeding tube and colostomy care.
• Document patient care electronically using tablets provided in each patient's home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component.
• TB skin test (within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.
