Open Positions

• Schedule: Sat–Sun, 8am–12am; Mon and Wed 6pm–12am — Location/Setting: McAlester, OK — Age Range: Teenager — Acuity: Feeding tube, tracheostomy, ventilator & med administration (training available)
• Schedule: Mon–Sat 8am–4pm or 10pm–6am — Location/Setting: McAlester, OK — Age Range: Toddler — Acuity: Feeding tube, tracheostomy, ventilator & med administration (training available)

Responsibilities

• One-to-one patient care in a home environment
• Execution of physician's prescribed plan of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
• Patient assessments, coordination of care
• Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component) — Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
