Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across Charlotte, Huntersville, Belmont, Harrisburg, and Matthews, North Carolina. Practice medicine without a waiting room, double-booked columns, or a corporate production dashboard—just you, a loving family, and the time to do it right.
We are a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led veterinary practice. Unlike national and private-equity-backed end-of-life networks, we do not use non-compete contracts—your career remains yours to shape on your own terms.
About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets
- Work independently in a mobile environment
- Maintain rotational weekend availability
- Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrate compassion, dignity, and respect in all interactions
- Communicate professionally with team members and families
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
- Valid driver’s license
