In-Home Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Visiting Angels of Lufkin is hiring an In-Home Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support senior adults in the Deep East Texas area, including locations like San Augustine, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Norwood, Chireno, and Rosevine. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Manage light housekeeping tasks
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications on schedule
• Assist with shopping, grocery management, and meal planning/preparation
• Support clients with mobility and ambulation, including doctor visits and walks
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies and report health changes or unusual circumstances

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Training or knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
• Compassion for vulnerable individuals and a desire to provide meaningful companionship
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
