In-Home Caregiver (Winnebago County)

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and laundry
• Aid clients with med reminders and other person-specific tasks
• Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence
• Document client care and services provided in accordance with company policies
• Participate in team meetings and trainings
• Contribute to the development of client care plans

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• One year of experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
• A valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle
• Able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have a working phone
• Able and willing to commute from client home to client home

Work Environment

• Work in clients' homes, with occasional office visits
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Part-time and full-time positions available, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our clients and caregivers
