In Home Caregiver/PCA

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide a helping hand to clients through engaging conversations and participating in their favorite hobbies.
• Prepare meals for clients to enjoy.
• Aid clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.
• Report completed activities and provide updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver's license, valid auto insurance, own reliable transportation, clean driving record, and willingness to drive a reasonable distance.
• One year of field experience as a PCA or Home Health Aide preferred but not required, as training will be provided to the right candidates.
• Pass State and Federal background check and drug screen.
• Get a current TB and physical before starting work with us (Hiring Bonus available to help with costs).
• Obtain CPR & First Aid certifications (We can help with this).
• Provide 2 personal and 2 professional references.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned.
