About the role

Freedom Home Care serves veterans and their families in the Cincinnati and Tri-State area, providing compassionate, reliable, in-home care. This Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant position is based in Amelia, OH and surrounding areas, offering part‑time or full‑time shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship and emotional support
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Documentation in AxisCare

Requirements

• Pass BCI/FBI background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Active car insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Prefer 1 year of personal care experience

Skills

• Experience with dementia or mobility assistance (preferred)
• Strong communication skills
• Calm and compassionate presence

Qualifications

• Caregiving, home care, STNA, CNA, DSP, or related experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Dependable attendance and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass required background screenings
• Compassionate, professional, and client‑focused attitude
