In Home Caregiver - Cascade Locks

About the Role

Our office in The Dalles serves The Dalles, Hood River, Wasco and the surrounding areas. We will find a client that fits your availability. Current needs include:

• Caregivers available for DAY shifts; weekdays and weekend availability
• Heavy needs for Caregivers in Hood River and The Dalles
• Open weekend shifts for anyone looking for part-time work
• Variety of short shifts (can be stacked for fuller schedule!)
• Bilingual Caregivers needed (Spanish speaking preferred)

Pay

• $21-$21.50 depending on level of care given
• Paid training and mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
• REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle, have WA or OR driver's license and active auto insurance
