In Home Caregiver

About the role

As a Life Care Professional (In-Home Caregiver), you’ll provide supportive home care that helps clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes. Every caregiver plays a vital role in helping our clients thrive at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and daily routines
• Support mobility, transfers, and safety in the home
• Provide specialized home care for individuals with spinal cord injuries, TBI, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and age-related conditions
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Document care updates using simple smartphone tools
• Maintain clear communication with the care team to ensure the highest level of home care

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 25–30 mile radius
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently
• Comfortable using smartphones/mobile apps
• Dependable, compassionate caregiver mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home care, caregiving, or healthcare
• CNA certification or similar caregiver background
• Experience supporting veterans
• Experience with dementia, TBI, or spinal cord injury
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance (may be required depending on client needs)

Pay

$15.00 – $23.00 per hour based on certifications and experience.

Schedule

Part-time morning shifts available.

Location

Strasburg, OH and surrounding areas within a 25–30 mile radius.
