In Home Caregiver

About the role

New Hope is looking for a Caregiver to join their team. The client will have a service dog in the home. The schedule needed is 11am to 5pm, Monday through Friday at $15 an hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and assistance to clients
• Aid with personal care tasks
• Help with meal planning and preparation
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Afford medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings

Job Requirements

• Pass drug tests and background checks
• Valid driver's license or state ID
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, compassion, and reliability

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
• Courteous and patient demeanor
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
