About the role
New Hope is seeking to hire full-time and part-time caregivers to provide reliable and compassionate in-home non-medical care to their clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care and assistance to clients
- Aid with personal care tasks
- Help with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Aid with medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
Requirements
- Pass drug tests and background checks
- Valid Drivers license or state ID
- Great communication skills, flexibility, showing compassion, and being reliable
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Caregiver must have a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Must be able to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
