In-Home Caregiver

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, transportation, socialization, and community participation.
• Document progress, support medication management, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications & Skills

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with six months of human services experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license, computer skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks.
• Completion of mandated training and background checks are required.

Essential Duties

• Deliver personalized support per care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Build professional relationships.
• Report incidents.
• Support health care needs, including medication administration and medical appointment accompaniment.
• Ensure safety, perform light maintenance, and adhere to safety policies.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Work primarily in community and home settings.
• Physical requirements include exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety protocols.

Additional Information

• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Must be reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and committed to providing quality care to promote independence and well-being of individuals served.
