About the role
Provide compassionate care to seniors in their homes, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and light housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with personal hygiene and mobility
- Monitor and administer medications as prescribed
- Help with meal preparation and nutrition
- Engage in social activities to promote mental well-being
- Ensure home safety and security
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Pass a background check and criminal history review
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
- Basic computer literacy
Skills
- First aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of senior health and wellness
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
