In-Home Caregiver

About the Role

Compassionate Friends Homecare LLC is a veteran-owned company focused on helping veterans maintain the quality of life they've always known. Our dedicated team provides every veteran with the highest level of personal care in the comfort of their own home. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to a veteran in their own home.

Responsibilities

• Tend to clients’ social and emotional needs by joining them in activities and providing companionship
• Support mobility (help with walking, transfers, or use mobility aids)
• Take clients to their medical appointments or personal errands
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals, do laundry, and perform light housework
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming, and eating
• Identify and address safety issues in the home
• Keep accurate records of care provided

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm

Requirements

• Capable, motivated, and willing to learn and grow as the position evolves
• Subject to a background check
• Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
