In-Home Caregiver

About the role

Compassionate Friends Homecare LLC is a veteran-owned company dedicated to helping veterans maintain their quality of life through high-quality, compassionate in-home care. We are seeking a dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized support to a veteran in their own home, assisting with daily activities and promoting overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, and eating
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and do laundry
• Support mobility, including walking, transfers, and use of mobility aids
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation to medical appointments or personal outings
• Tend to clients’ social and emotional needs by providing companionship and joining in activities
• Identify and address safety issues in the home
• Keep accurate records of care provided

Schedule

• 6 hours per week on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
