In Home Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing essential care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation needs
• Engage in meaningful conversation and provide companionship to clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Patience and understanding when working with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations
• Ability to work independently while following established care plans
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and infection control practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• You must be 19 years of age or older
