In-Home Caregiver

About the role

As a Blakeford At-Home Caregiver, You Will Aid seniors in their homes, supporting their goal to live and maintain a safe environment as they age in place.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with their activities of daily living.
• Provide non-skilled homemaking assistance to clients returning home from hospital and/or rehab facilities.
• Accompany clients during scheduled appointments as needed. Assist them in and out of the vehicle and with ambulation throughout appointment.
• Provide light housekeeping services including sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Assist with laundry and meal prep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• At least 2 years of similar experience (caregiving to adults, aged 70+)
• CPR certification
• A heart for working with seniors
