In-Home Caregiver & Activity Assistant
About the role
Looking for a job that's active, social, and actually fun? A friendly, outgoing adult in Plover is looking for someone dependable to join his support team. This is a one-on-one position for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, trying different activities, and helping someone make the most of their day. He enjoys NASCAR, Monster Jam, fishing, bowling, walks, board games, mini golf, and adaptive sports like bowling, track, and bocce ball. He's very social and enjoys having someone around who is willing to participate, laugh, and have a good time. And don't let the care-related tasks scare you away! The skills needed for this position are straightforward, and training will be provided. You don't need to walk in knowing how to do everything. We're looking for someone with the right attitude who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable helping another person.
This isn't sitting in a home waiting for the day to pass. You'll have the opportunity to get out, participate in activities, build a genuine friendship, and help someone stay active and connected to his community. This is a direct-hire position in a private home. Community Horizons is assisting the employer with the hiring process. If you're interested but aren't sure whether you have the experience, apply anyway! Training will be provided for the right person.
