Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene (bed baths, skin care, dressing)
- Incontinence care (utilizing a bed pan & the use of incontinence products)
- Light housekeeping (laundry, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, linen changes as needed)
- Transfer individual with use of a Hoyer lift
- Cooking and preparing snacks
- Occasional errands
- Organize spaces within the home
- Build connection and companionship
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred
- Previous experience using a Hoyer lift (willing to train the RIGHT person)
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in home & community care settings or social work is advantageous
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
- Must be 18 years of age due to the nature of the work
Compensation
$17.32‑$18.50 per hour
Schedule
- 7:00 am – 9:00 am
- 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- 11:00 pm – 12:00 am
- Schedule times have flexibility and can work with your busy life
