Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Bachelor s degree Required Investigation experience or paralegal certification Required 2 Years Thorough knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply the Indiana Civil Rights Law, Commission rules and regulations, and court decisions Required 2 Years Ability to secure and analyze data and testimony relevant to all areas covered by the Indiana Civil Rights Law Required 2 Years Experience pertaining to the Civil Rights Act and Fair Housing Laws Required 2 Years Ability to conduct difficult and involved investigations and make recommendations to the director regarding disposition Required 2 Years Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing Required 2 Years Ability to maintain confidentiality Required Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office 365 Required Specialized knowledge of the principles, practices, and past and current trends of the Civil Rights field on a state and national level Nice to have
