About the role
The In-Car Driver Education Instructor position at Radford High School is responsible for delivering driver education curriculum within the school’s vehicles. This role requires a strong commitment to student safety and adherence to all state and local driving laws. -
Responsibilities
- Teach driver education classes in accordance with state standards.
- Ensure students follow all safety protocols while operating vehicles.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials for each class session.
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements
- Valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in teaching driver education or related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
