Responsibilities
- Selects and modifies instructional resources to meet diverse student needs.
- Provides classroom permit, pre-licensing (5 hour course), and defensive driving instruction.
- Prepares students for permit and road tests, and transports them to testing sites.
- Motivates and counsels students on behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
- Records and forwards daily attendance to Student Records.
- Maintains student personnel folders.
- Models appropriate behaviors and mentors students.
- Monitors both positive and negative behaviors through interventions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess active Driver Education Instructor Certification.
- Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
