Responsibilities
- Works with customers to shape and close international business opportunities in concert with internal objectives.
- Provides assistance to the International Trade Compliance Department to ensure Company’s export related policies, procedures and practices are in compliance with U.S. Export laws and regulations.
- Prepares export documentation such as export license applications and technical assistance agreements for review by the Export Compliance Manager.
- Collaborates with program personnel to review provisos on licenses and agreements to ensure business and customer requirements can be met by the license or agreement.
- Coordinates with program personnel to approve foreign travel and foreign visitors.
- Participates in the investigation of any aspect of proposed export or temporary export by the Company to verify the legality of any transactions and the accuracy of the information to be submitted.
- Develops and presents export related training materials.
- Supports BAE Systems and/or government agencies with any required assistance or information needed during the review of license application.
- Maintains export related record keeping functions for the Company as required by law.
- Conducts internal compliance audits on a periodic basis.
- Prepares and distributes periodic reports on licensing status for use by Company personnel.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 4+ Years with High School diploma; 2+ Years with Associate's degree; or 0+ Year with Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate report and documents.
- Ability to make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with OCR EASE global trade management software.
