As an Import Automotive Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain import vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. You'll work on advanced vehicle systems while delivering quality repairs and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain import vehicles
• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Use OEM scan tools and factory diagnostic equipment
• Repair engine performance, drivability, and electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair transmissions
• Service brake, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems
• Perform hybrid and electric vehicle service
• Calibrate and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
• Read wiring diagrams and factory service information
• Complete warranty repairs, recalls, and campaigns
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and provide recommendations
• Document repairs and complete repair orders accurately
• Collaborate with service advisors and parts departments to ensure timely repairs

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience, preferably with import brands such as Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Volkswagen, Mazda, or similar manufacturers
• Automotive Technology training preferred
• ASE Certifications (A1-A8) preferred
• Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving vehicle technology
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
