About the Role

Perform installation oversight, configuration, testing, monitoring, and servicing of network equipment. Activate networks for projects supporting Department of Defense networks. Conduct customer coordination, Initial Test and Acceptance (IT&A), and execute reporting functions for new service activations. Work directly with customers, solution architects, and vendor SMEs to implement changes and resolve issues. Manage Service Orders in accordance with Change Management procedures, ensuring Telecommunication Service Orders (TSOs) are accurate. Design and implement solutions to highly technical network problems through testing and configuration modifications.

What You'll Need

  • Proficient knowledge of network hardware equipment specifications, configuration, and testing processes
  • Experience configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing network systems
  • Solid understanding of network engineering, problem management, and performance management
  • Knowledge of data and voice network design, including routing protocols (BGP, ISIS), VLANs, and circuit configurations
  • Experience with common network services (BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF) and appliances (routers, load balancers, firewalls)
  • An active Secret security clearance and a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
