About the role
As an Implementations Advisor II on the Configure Digital implementation team, you will assist in providing leadership oversight to a variety of functions including implementation, training, consulting, and support of digital banking software. Implementations may be part of a larger conversion or a single product installation. You will work on building relationships across various groups and levels of leadership across Fiserv to deliver solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and high-priority initiatives focused on implementations, training, consulting, and configuration of Configure Digital software, Fiserv’s next-generation banking solution product.
- Become a subject matter expert in the products, including resolving moderate to complex product and/or technical issues.
- Provide leadership oversight and solve critical problems.
- Review project deliverables and ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
- Build relationships across various groups within Fiserv to deliver solutions.
- Engage directly with clients and client leadership at various project stages.
- Assess client business needs, identify solutions, and manage requirements (within the defined Configure Digital solution).
- Manage product configuration setup and updates.
- Oversee specific cross-portfolio initiatives.
- Maintain and update documentation, as applicable.
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate client schedules, hosted tenant provisioning, and core interface activities.
- Monitor project plans to meet expected timelines.
- Assist with managing client expectations.
- Act as liaison between various parties for projects involving multiple product offerings or interfaces for Fiserv and third-party vendors.
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of Fiserv products and services and stay abreast of relevant industry trends and best practices.
- Walk clients through setup, testing, and procedures, including conducting training and client presentations.
- Provide occasional after-hours support, as well as the ability to adjust shifts and work additional hours to support client implementations.
- Provide technical and product assistance and support to other Implementation Analysts and various Fiserv teams.
- Assist with documentation/review of implementation procedures.
- Perform data mapping, code validations, and go-live support via phone or client onsite support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with customer-facing projects or in a client support role.
- Financial Services Industry experience.
- Proficient core computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, moving files between systems, Windows basics).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferred).
- Fiserv core or Online Banking experience (preferred).
- Time management skills to work on multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation skills, to communicate project status, product details, and technical specifications.
- Research and analytical skills to problem-solve issues and determine appropriate options for clients.
- Basic networking and data communication understanding (beneficial).
