Clearance required: TIER 2 (non-critical sensitive position; must be able to obtain and maintain). Full-time position.
About the role
Knowesis is seeking an Implementation Scientist SME III who applies established scientific frameworks to successfully integrate evidence-based practices into clinical settings. This role involves designing and monitoring pilot studies to determine the feasibility of widespread adoption within the Military Health System (MHS).
Responsibilities
- Apply implementation science subject-matter expertise to conduct multi-site pilot studies assessing the feasibility of implementing novel evidence-based practices.
- Conduct recurring outreach to participating pilot sites to monitor progress and facilitate modification of strategies to promote uptake and fidelity.
- Develop pilot-specific knowledge translation and implementation support tools.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative pilot data to assess the comparative effectiveness of implementation strategies.
- Prepare summative reports and implementation guides informed by study findings to guide expanded implementation.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in a health-related or behavioral science field.
- At least 8 years of postdoctoral experience directly related to implementation science or quality improvement research.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience utilizing formal implementation science frameworks (e.g., RE-AIM, CFIR).
- Experience leading clinical practice change initiatives in large hospital networks.
Pay
$125,000 – $156,000 per year.
