About the role
The Implementation Project Manager will oversee the implementation of new and existing clients, ensuring that their needs are met within the agreed timelines and budgets. They will work closely with the client's trading desk and technology teams, as well as other Client Services teams, to manage and complete projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of new or existing clients in line with our standard operating procedures.
- Fulfill existing client’s requirements and provide timelines.
- Ensure our new clients are implemented on time and under budget.
- Work with internal teams on implementation related items to ensure we deliver in line with our commitments.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines, driving them to completion through agreement with the client and support from internal teams where necessary.
- Owning each assigned complex and strategic engagement, acting as the primary day-to-day management point person working across multiple internal groups driving tasks through to completion within tight deadlines.
- Drive transparency and consistency by clear communication and production of engagement-specific documentation.
- Leverage domain expertise and relationship skills to build and maintain credible relationships with clients.
- Maintain oversight of implementation progress and report to senior management.
- Keep all internal and external stakeholders updated on the progress of projects.
- Communicate project status confidently and raise alerts.
- Have a strong understanding of buy-side EMS workflows.
- Run quarterly reviews alongside the senior management team with client’s senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of industry experience in Project/Product/Implementation Management.
- Experience with front office trading account management and/or project management.
- Strong understanding of trading platforms on buy or sell side.
- Knowledge of equities, FX and/or FI trading workflows.
- Excellent ability to manage day-to-day projects but also keeping an eye on the big picture.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy team-oriented environment in both independent and collaborative working environments.
- Proven experience understanding and defining complex workflows.
- Demonstrated history of scoping engagements and gathering requirements.
- Demonstrated history of solving complex problems with a keen eye for detail and a meticulous level of precision.
