Requirements
- Systems & Implementation Expertise: Proven track record of successfully leading a ground-up Bill.com implementation or migration at a prior organization.
- Core AP & Systems Proficiency: Strong foundational background in accounts payable (e.g., AP Manager level) with high tech-savviness and experience mapping, designing, and automating manual workflows.
- Accounting Foundation: Strong technical accounting baseline, with deep experience handling full-cycle accounts payable operations.
- Training & Mentorship Capability: Demonstrated experience training junior staff or system end-users on newly implemented platform architectures and routing protocols.
- Discretion & Compliance: Absolute precision in setting up system documentation controls, transaction routing, and internal authorization matrices from the ground up.

Responsibilities
- Process Mapping & Diagnostic Evaluation: Survey all legacy manual accounts payable operations, paper file sequences, and bank download steps to design and map optimized future-state digital workflows.
- System Design & Implementation: Act as the primary point of contact for Bill.com’s implementation specialists, establishing compliant transaction routing, user permissions, and multi-tier approval paths from scratch.
- Cross-Functional System Liaison: Partner closely with the Controller and CFO to coordinate database integrations, ensuring seamless translation of invoice data into the general ledger.
- End-User Training & Documentation: Build out localized training modules and directly coach the internal AP Clerk, ensuring they are fully equipped to independently manage and troubleshoot the software platform.
- Quality Assurance Auditing: Ensure that the foundational system rules prevent compliance errors, preserve historical audit trails, and maintain pristine digital records.
