Implant Equipment Engineer

About the role

Responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining ion implantation processes in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own process development, specifications, control plans, and inline metrics.
• Drive yield and defect improvements through data analysis and root cause techniques.
• Lead process change reviews, risk assessments, and qualifications for new or optimized processes.
• Collaborate with equipment teams and vendors to ensure process and tool capability alignment.
• Enhance learning speed and cycle time via innovative inline metrology and data-driven monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Materials, Physics) or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with implant process ownership or development, or equivalent military experience, or 5+ years with an Associate degree.
• Ability to work on-site and a good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn.
