Immunisation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of immunisation programs across Western Sydney Local Health District
• Develop and drive strategies to improve vaccination uptake and achieve immunisation coverage targets
• Provide expert advice and consultation to health professionals, stakeholders, technical networks and the wider community
• Lead research, quality improvement and service evaluation initiatives to advance immunisation practice and outcomes
• Build and support a high-performing team while fostering strong partnerships across healthcare, public health and community sectors

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in health-related field and/or relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of immunisation issues, policies practices and procedures
• Proven ability to initiate strategies to improve immunisation uptake in the general community and disadvantaged groups
• High level written communication skills and demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills
• Demonstrated skill and experience in strategic and clinical service planning, delivery & evaluation
• Demonstrated management experience in a clinical or community health setting

Remuneration: $69.35 - $78.79 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)
