About the role

The Immune Hematology Manager (IHM) is responsible for effectively applying promotional and selling strategies while growing the product base for Sanofi Pharmaceuticals in their specified geography. The IHM will be responsible for selling belumosudil in their assigned territory, if approved. The role involves providing on-label product information to key opinion leaders and healthcare providers, and establishing and maintaining relationships within the cGVHD community.

Responsibilities

  • Promote belumosudil to meet or exceed territory sales goals through approved promotional efforts.
  • Communicate and provide on-label information for Sanofi Pharmaceuticals’ products to designated targets and accounts.
  • Develop clear, comprehensive business plans with exceptional business acumen.
  • Understand key customers’ goals and desired clinical outcomes to cultivate partnerships that serve both customer and patient needs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key personnel, healthcare providers (HCPs), and non-HCPs at targeted accounts.
  • Manage and develop territory budgets for customer contacts, promotional programs, and other external expenditures.
  • Analyze sales and market trends to identify current and future business opportunities and implement strategic plans accordingly.
  • Demonstrate expertise in product, disease state, and product access/reimbursement.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various Sanofi teams, including Marketing, Managed Care, Analytics, Accounting, Compliance, and Legal.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of Managed Care, GPOs, Specialty Pharmacy, State Medicaid, and Veterans Affairs selling and reimbursement environments.
  • Conduct daily activities including one-on-one, group, and non-personal on-label sales presentations to targeted providers.
  • Prepare and analyze market data to identify customer and market trends.
  • Deliver promotional messages via approved channels, including face-to-face and virtual platforms.
  • Utilize current computer systems for planning, forecasting, and reviewing sales activities to optimize resources and meet sales goals.
  • Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample distribution (if applicable), and expense reporting.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing the marketing and promotion of pharmaceutical products and Sanofi policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Proven success in generating and driving sales results.
  • Product launch experience.
  • Proficient in live engagements with HCPs and staff.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time or greater.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hematology, Oncology, precision medicine, or Bone Marrow Transplant experience.
  • Field sales, hospital/academic institution sales, or Managed Care experience within the oncology/hematology-transplant market.
