About the role
Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. This role is part of the North America Immigration team, which has grown significantly in recent years, managing immigration programs across North America including Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage immigration programs across North America, including Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
- Support the development of the North America regional immigration team, bringing scalable frameworks and clear structure to the function.
- Build relationships with all levels of the organization, from entry-level employees to senior leadership.
- Manage a diverse set of processes with multiple steps and various deadlines, balancing competing priorities.
- Show attention to detail in all work, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Contribute to the development of colleagues through coaching, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, preferably in U.S., Canadian, or Mexican immigration.
- Experience with Canadian or Mexican immigration, including understanding different work permit categories, the Canadian permanent residency process, and basic Mexican immigration knowledge.
- Experience in supporting complex immigration processes, particularly in U.S. immigration, including PERM lifecycle and messaging strategies.
- Working knowledge of non-immigrant employment-based U.S. immigration categories like H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, and student work authorization.
- Familiarity with external vendor engagement and effective ways of working.
- Solid working knowledge of Workday.
