Immigration Consultant

About the role

Soni is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Immigration Consultant to provide short-term support across employment-based immigration and mobility activities. This is a hands-on role for someone who can step in quickly, manage active cases, coordinate with outside counsel, and provide responsive support to employees and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment-based immigration cases and work authorization activity
• Coordinate documentation, filings, deadlines, renewals, and transfers
• Partner with outside immigration counsel and vendors
• Support employee questions related to immigration and mobility
• Maintain accurate case tracking and documentation
• Assist with related mobility and relocation activity as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of employment-based immigration experience
• Strong hands-on case management experience
• Experience working with H-1B and other employment-based visa matters
• Experience partnering with outside immigration counsel
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly

Preferred Skills

• Prior in-house immigration or global mobility experience
• Experience supporting a larger organization
• Immigration paralegal or consulting background
• Relocation / mobility exposure

Pay

$40-50/Hr
