About the role
This is a hybrid immigration attorney position at Concord Visa, a technology‑first legal services company born out of Crimson Education. You will manage complex, high‑stakes immigration cases for founders, executives, and tech talent while partnering directly with engineering and product teams to make an AI‑powered platform smarter. The role offers direct access to the CEO, real influence on product and strategy, and the opportunity to shape the practice of immigration law at scale.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, accurate legal counsel on H‑1B, L‑1, E‑2, E‑3, O‑1, EB‑1A/B, and PERM processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from first‑time founders securing their first visa to enterprise HR teams managing large immigration programs.
- Guide clients through documentation, timelines, filing strategy, and USCIS/DOL processes with clarity and confidence.
- Manage a varied, stimulating caseload independently, maintaining precision for every client.
- Partner with Concord’s engineering and product teams to embed legal knowledge directly into the proprietary platform.
- Identify friction points in the immigration process and co‑design features that eliminate them.
- Shape the product roadmap with direct input on how legal workflows can be automated and scaled.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and ensure the platform reflects the latest immigration law.
- Represent Concord in client‑facing presentations, webinars, and industry discussions.
- Contribute to guides and resources that educate clients and establish Concord’s voice in the market.
- Help build the team and culture as a foundational member, not a seat‑filler.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Active Arizona bar license OR eligibility for Arizona admission on motion (UBE passers and attorneys with 3+ years active practice in a reciprocal jurisdiction may apply; Concord will support the process).
- 2–5 years of substantive U.S. business immigration experience (H‑1B, L‑1, E‑2, O‑1, EB‑1, PERM, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑track caseloads with accuracy and autonomy.
- Genuine curiosity about legal technology and how immigration law will evolve.
- Exceptional communication skills—equally comfortable explaining strategy to a nervous first‑time founder as to a seasoned HR director.
Desired Attributes
- Thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments where work directly shapes outcomes.
- Seeks more than a billable‑hour career; wants to build something lasting.
- Views AI as an opportunity to improve legal work, not a threat.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to help define the playbook.
- Willing to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally, as Concord expands.
