Immersive Simulation Technician

Responsibilities

• Support: Provide support for operations to ensure all equipment is running properly and efficiently.
• Support: Provide technical operational support for all systems and equipment related to immersive simulation.
• Collaborate: Work in collaboration with the Director of Lab to maintain inventory of supplies and equipment as needed for simulation.
• Collaborate: Support/assist in props placement and moulage set-up to create a virtual healthcare setting.
• Develop: Assist with development of scenarios utilized for simulation experiences.

Requirements

• Education: Must have granted diploma or certification relative to background experience (e.g., medical assistant diploma).
• Experience: Two or more years of patient care experience as a, but not limited to, Paramedic, Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), Simulation Technician, or any other licensed health care provider preferred.
• Experience: Two years related experience in clinical healthcare setting.
• Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, and equipment.
• Licenses: Unencumbered FL LPN or RN Licensure or FL Certification helpful but not required.
