About the role

Vassalboro Community School (PK-Grade 8) is seeking a qualified individual to work with students receiving Special Education Services. For detailed contract and wage scale information, refer to the school website.

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually and in small groups, assisted and supported by Special Education teachers.
• Adapt to changing student needs, demonstrating flexibility as position duties may shift.
• Function as a team player within the special education department.

Qualifications

• Educational Technician Certification via Maine Department of Education Level II or III.
• Must successfully complete a fingerprint/background check.

• Ability to provide individualized and small‑group instruction.
• Flexibility to adjust to evolving student needs.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Schedule

Daily work schedule: 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
