Position Summary
The physician has the responsibility of providing diagnoses and treatment to the spectrum of cases that present to the physician based on the physician’s area of specialty. This will include patients normally seen in an acute care clinic or primary physician’s office but will usually not include longitudinal care.
Experience Position Qualifications
- Current or recent experience in Immediate Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine is required.
- Graduate of an approved medical school is required.
- Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited in Family or Emergency Medicine program is required.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME).
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
- BLS certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.
