MLK Architecture is seeking a talented professional to contribute to our comprehensive architectural and interior design services for state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, with a focus on imaging suite projects.
About the role
You will be part of a team delivering high-impact design solutions for medical imaging environments, including CT, X-ray, Mammography, DEXA, and Ultrasound modalities. This role involves optimizing patient flow, staff efficiency, and spatial functionality while integrating specialized imaging equipment. Projects require careful attention to layout planning, circulation, accessibility, and interior finishes to create cohesive, patient-centered spaces that balance clinical requirements with aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan state-of-the-art imaging suites and healthcare facilities
- Optimize patient flow, staff efficiency, and spatial functionality
- Integrate specialized imaging equipment into architectural designs
- Develop layout plans with focus on circulation and accessibility
- Select and specify interior finishes for clinical environments
- Balance clinical requirements with aesthetic considerations
- Create welcoming, efficient spaces for patients and healthcare staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on healthcare projects
