IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST STUDENT

Job Summary

She/He will be responsible for quality patient care that reflects the mission and values of Ozark Health Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a current state and national license as applicable, and stay current on BLS and other essential certifications.
• Maintain patient safety and successfully accomplish patient imaging needs.
• Know X-ray and CT protocols and other relevant protocols.
• Use equipment appropriately and safely according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare and administer intravenous contrast and be knowledgeable of common side effects and adverse reactions.
• Adapt to situations and patient conditions and perform duties professionally and safely.
• Communicate effectively and productively with patients and fellow staff members.
• Work well with others and independently within the scope of their license.
