Imaging Technologist Part Time Evenings

About the Role

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at Lakeview Hospital, you will perform professional duties involving a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. This role allows latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will deliver high-quality patient-centered care in alignment with our motto, "Care Like Family."

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with proper procedures and produce excellent quality images to assist physicians in diagnosing conditions or health complaints.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department, including portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.
• Schedule, plan, implement, and complete requests for service while fostering a friendly and compassionate environment.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development to understand the range of treatment needed for diverse patient groups.
• Stay up-to-date with current techniques and procedures in radiologic technology.

Requirements

• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification as a Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
