Imaging Technologist Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members.
• Perform imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co‑op experience is in.
• Perform procedures according to requirements of the clinical program they are enrolled in and practice within the licensure requirements for the given imaging modality.

Requirements

Must meet all requirements of the specified internship/training program.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound program (or equivalent experience).
• Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule

• Status: PRN (non‑exempt).
• Shift hours: varies; includes days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Shift pattern: Shift 1 = Days, Shift 2 = Evenings, Shift 3 = Nights, Shift 4 = Varies.
• Weekend work: Occasional.
• On‑call: No.
• Remote work: Never.
