Imaging Technologist DAYS

About the Role

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at Lakeview Hospital, you will perform professional duties involving a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. This role allows for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative while delivering high-quality patient-centered care in line with our motto, "Care Like Family."

You will perform a range of imaging procedures in the radiology department, including portable exams and C-arm procedures throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include scheduling, planning, implementing, and completing service requests while fostering a compassionate environment. You will also stay current with techniques and procedures and understand the growth and development needs of diverse patient groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with the proper procedure, delivering excellent quality images to assist physicians in diagnosis.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including portable exams and C-arm procedures.
• Schedule, plan, implement, and complete service requests while maintaining a friendly and compassionate environment.
• Stay up to date on current techniques and procedures in radiology.
• Understand the range of treatment needed for different patient groups based on growth and development.

Requirements

• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification as a Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
