About the role

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs specialized technical tasks in Diagnostic Radiography, utilizing X-Rays to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities. Essential information is shared through documentation and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Utilize X-Rays to assist in detecting anatomical abnormalities
• Comply with Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures
• Maintain professional level of expertise as required by Conway Regional Health System policy
• Verify orders, charge procedures, and work knowledge of PACS system
• Transport patients with all necessary paperwork completed

Safety Sensitivity

This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. Employees under the influence of Marijuana are considered a threat to patients/customers, and Conway Regional is responsible for ensuring this does not occur.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
• Arkansas Department of Health License in Radiography
• Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers prior to completion of orientation
• Previous Computer Experience
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and Arkansas Department of Health requirements preferred
