About the role

Davie Medical Center - Radiology is seeking a part-time X-ray Technician, Benefits Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and operates radiographic equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Ensures accurate patient records via correct data entry, validation and archival of images.
• Provides age-developmental appropriate care in accordance with Age-Developmental Specific Guidelines for the age groups served.

Requirements

• Currently in the second year of the Radiologic Science Program.
• One year of training in the Radiologic Science Program.
• LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATION: Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff.
• Adaptable to changing work schedules.

Skills

• Able to recognize and function accordingly in relation to prioritizing of patient needs.

Pay

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.

Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job.

Incentive pay for select positions.

Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
